Phil has been with Long and Fisher since 1988. A lifelong Kanawha County resident, he is a 1965 graduate of East Bank High School and member of the Glasgow/Cedar Grove Lions Club. He is married to Judy Fraker, and is the proud father of Kimberly Dawn Allen and Jill Morris. He also has two grandchildren, Chris and Taylor Back, and a great-granddaughter, Jada Back.

Rachel Dotson, Funeral Director & Embalmer Licensee-in-Charge

Rachel joined our funeral home family in March 2014 as a funeral director, embalmer, and funeral celebrant. She is a graduate of Marshall University (Go Herd!) with an associate’s degree in administrative assistant technology and a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with a bachelor’s degree in mortuary science.

James joined our staff in June 2015 with more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. The West Virginia native is a graduate of Scott High School and Concord College, and holds a real estate brokers license. He is an active St. Albans resident through his Baptist faith and his membership with the Kanawha Valley Board of Realtors. He is married to Holly, and has two sons, Vincent and Wyatt, and two pets, Max and Rudy. In his free time, he enjoys working out.

Randy Camp, Funeral Attendant

Randall worked for 36 years in the chemical industry before retiring in 2006. He jokes he returned to the workforce to join the funeral home staff in 2008 after his wife discovered he could cook and handle other household chores quite well. He also is an ordained minister and has pastored at three different churches and has traveled as an evangelist and singer for many years. He enjoys working at the funeral home because it gives him the opportunity to help and comfort families that are hurting, and he can offer his his ministerial skill and singing for services without clergy officiating.

Orville McFarland, Funeral Attendant

Orville has been a lifetime resident of Sissonville. He and his wife, Joyce, have one child, Dana, and one grandchild, Alexis (Lexi).  He retired from banking after 34 years, and previously worked at Cunningham Memorial Park and Floral Hills Garden of Memories. He has been singing gospel music for many years and also enjoys playing golf.

Tom Eden, Funeral Attendant

Tom began assisting with services at the funeral home after he retired from RC Cola. He and his wife, Mary, have three children and five grandchildren. He attends Calvary Church of the Nazarene and enjoys spending time with his family.

Robert Reed, Funeral Attendant

Robert, a lifetime resident of Sissonville, started working in our funeral home after retiring from banking. He is a member of the Sissonville Lions Club and an active volunteer at the local food pantry. He and his wife, Carolyn, attend North Hills Baptist Church. The couple has three grown children and eight grandchildren. Robert enjoys working in his woodshop and spending time at his seasonal home on the Greenbrier River with family and friends.
